Stunning Family Home, Sunninghill

Eden House was contacted by Tracey Davey, a local interior designer whose client had recently purchased a stunning new build property in Sunninghill. We met both the property owner and Tracey at our Showroom initially to look at the different shutter style options from material to colour ways, followed by a site visit to the property to take initial measurements in order to prepare a quote and to design shutters to compliment the overall décor.

We designed made to measure shutters for all rooms at the front of the house.  The sun was very bright at the front of the house and shutters were the perfect solution as allowed the owners to control the light by a simple tilt of the louvres. We enjoyed collaborating with both the interior designer and the property owner and designed made to measure shutters using our wider width louvres of 89mm from one of our top pure wood ranges.  The client wanted at times to be able to open the shutters completely so we used our bi-fold design so the shutter panels could be folded back.

Shutters don’t have to be used alone as in one of the bedrooms, curtains were used in conjunction with the shutters for a more feminine appeal. Bathroom shutters and those in the utility room were designed using our 100% waterproof material, which can cope with changes in humidity and splash back. The study featured a bay window and shutters were a perfect solution for this very British architectural feature.
