22 Feb Cafe Style Shutters for Turret Bay Windows in Victorian Apartment in Camberley, Surrey

We were asked by a local customer to design and install some shutters for their Victorian built apartment in Camberley, Surrey.

The Victorian inspired apartment features a turret featuring five large sash windows, this light-filled space offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

The client was looking to make the most of their apartment and finding the perfect window dressing with a luxurious feel to their splendid turret bay windows.

We recommended café style window shutters as the perfect solution for their requirements

89 mm shutters fitted to Bay Window for privacy but without shutting out all of the light.

The plantation shutters were made to measure and feature wide 89mm louvres with centralised tilt rods to help create the specific look that the customer was looking to achieve.

We like the way that centralised tilt rods create an elegant and traditional look which works with these turret windows.

The plantation shutters were designed in MDF our Antigua range which are our most affordable solution plus they are also available in 6 white colours.

We designed the shutters so that the top lined up perfectly with the window divide. The shutters were finished in silk white to match the window fascia’s, architraves and window sills. combined with a strong contrast for the darker wall décor.
