Cafe Style Shutters in Living Room

Bespoke Café Style Window Shutters In Living Room of a Period Terraced House in Sunningdale, Berkshire

With the exciting build up to Christmas we was recently in Berkshire, in the village of Sunningdale, to install some bespoke interior window shutters for multiple rooms in a client’s home, with café style shutters in the living room and dining room , and full height shutters in the bedrooms

Although the house is a period house the client required maximum light into the dining room and living room although was still looking for privacy in these rooms downstairs.

full height shutters in bedroom
We recommended café style shutters as this was the best solution for their requirement and also in keeping with the character of the house.

We designed the café style shutters to cover two thirds of the window, in line with the window design so to leave the top of the windows completely open to let natural light into the rooms, whilst the larger bottom windows are covered with shutters that can be adjusted by the centre tilt rod to be closed or open. In the upstairs bedrooms we recommend full height shutters.

All of the interior shutters are bespoke for each window so are made to measure for a perfect fit, we designed all the plantation shutters using our Antigua Range which is a MDF , with 76mm louvres and a center tilt rod and finished them in a silk white paint to match our clients décor
